The short version
Glossi edits your photos with Google’s AI. We don’t keep your photos on our servers, Google doesn’t use them to train its AI, and we never sell your data. You can delete everything from Settings in the app.
What we collect
We keep only what the app needs to work:
- An anonymous account id, created when you first open the app. There is no sign-up, email or password.
- That you agreed to the AI terms and confirmed your age, and when.
- Each edit’s look, time, outcome and cost, so we can refund failed edits, stop abuse and fix problems. Not the photo.
- Your plan and credit balance, and purchase records that Apple sends us through RevenueCat. We never see your card.
- Reports you send about an edit, with any note you add.
We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.
Your photos and Google’s AI
When you apply a look, your iPhone resizes the photo and removes its location and other hidden data. It is then sent over an encrypted connection to Google’s Gemini API, which makes the edit. The result comes back to your iPhone.
Neither the photo nor the result is stored on our servers. Google may keep API data for a limited time to detect abuse, and does not use it to train its models.
Who helps us run Glossi
Google (the Gemini API) makes the edits. Supabase hosts our database and servers. RevenueCat handles subscription and purchase records for Apple’s in-app purchases. Each of them handles data only to provide that service to us.
How long we keep data
Your photos and edits live on your iPhone until you delete them. Account, credit and edit records stay until you delete your data in Settings.
Your choices
Delete my data, in the app’s Settings, deletes your account, credits, edit history and reports at once. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app alone removes the photos on your iPhone but not the account records.
You can also email us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted.
Age
Glossi is for people 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you think a child has used Glossi, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app when the change matters.
